The pink colour of rose quartz is due to manganese. If you feel neglected in life be it relationships or in general, rose quartz heals this by soothing the heart. Just holding this crystal is not enough to connect and receive its many possibilities. If you have ever watched Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs you will see what I mean. Before writing this I was watching it again. I love the scene with the dwarfs collecting gems in the mine. Anyway as you know she is supposed to be killed but the huntsman can’t because she is so lovely. Her love draws love out of everyone and animals she meets. If you use the love rose quartz gives you, the gentle trickle will become a stream which will eventually turn into a river. It is so strange that people expect crystals to work their magic and everything will be alright. Obviously this does not happen overnight and without work from you but rose quartz is so unconditional in its love. It will pour love into you. It will keep trying and trying to give you love so never worry. It will never give up on you. It is one friend in life which will help you through anything that comes your way. Rose quartz is a lovely stone for young children. Its gentle colour, nature and energy can help soothe nightmares and help children feel secure. In bereavement it will be of comfort especially if used with amethyst. Rose quartz can work on all the chakras giving calmness to you all over.
