As you can see from this picture it is truly a beautiful light blue gem. Sometimes it's so clear you can hardly see the blue.

It takes you away like being on a quiet secluded beach. You suddenly feel hot and you need to cool down. You take a drink from beside you but it’s not enough. You sit up and you gaze out to sea. You look at the cool blue waters and you can't help getting up and walking towards them. As soon as your feet are in the water you straight away feel it’s gentleness cooling you down. You feel relaxed as the gentle waves wash against your feet easing your discomfort as your worries are being taken out to sea. You walk deeper into the water allowing your body to get used to the cold. You start to feel alive, it’s only the two of you, just you and the sea. There’s nothing to disturb you so you dive all the way in. With each gentle stroke you relax more and more, the sky above you is clear and blue for miles. It's just you and complete blue now. You feel great about being alive and feel nothing anymore can harm you. All your stagnant emotions inside you are slowly being released. Everything you have ever wanted now feels possible to achieve, you can’t wait to start all your new ideas. You were tired but now you can feel a new life force flowing through your body. Skills you haven’t used for a while are calling you, pulling you towards them wanting you to embrace them again. It’s time for you to create your ideas; your imagination is running free and wild. As you swim further out you find all those little illnesses that have been bothering you start to fade away. Your immune system is building, getting stronger and stronger. You feel full of courage, you're ready to tackle the world now.

Aquamarine does all these things for you; it’s a lovely calming stone. Its name derives from Latin meaning “water from the sea". Its crystal structure is hexagonal. It promotes safety in travel especially whilst travelling over sea. Used on a layout with rose quartz, you will find yourself soothed on all levels. It’s great for sore throats, swollen glands especially thyroid problems and anything in that area. It’s a wonderful tonic and can purify water. Leave a piece in water in the fridge overnight and drink the next day. If you continue to do this daily you will feel your body cleansing itself. Aquamarine is used to strengthen the bodies cleansing organs as well as the teeth, eyes and stomach. It can also calm hayfever.
